We recently joined businesses from across the industry at the Seafish Conference in London, where our Managing Director, Nina Shipley, and Commercial Marketing Director, Emma Turner, were invited to share their insights on social licence and branding.
Their presentation explored the relationship between reputation, communication and trust, looking at how businesses can build stronger connections with their audiences while navigating changing expectations.
The session focused on the importance of transparency and consistency in communications, as well as the role that a clear and authentic brand can play in building confidence among customers, stakeholders and wider audiences.
For businesses operating in industries where public perception and trust are particularly important, social licence can have a significant influence on how a brand is understood and received. Our presentation explored how thoughtful marketing and communication can support this, while still aligning with wider commercial objectives.
The conference also provided a valuable opportunity to hear from other businesses and industry experts, share ideas and discuss some of the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
We were pleased to be invited to contribute to the conversation and to share some of the experience we’ve gained through our work helping businesses develop their brands, communicate more effectively and build meaningful connections with their audiences.
